Robinho is trying to spark his career back to life

A few weeks ago, Robinho announced his desire to get a call-up from Dunga and have a chance to represent Brazil at the international stage and perform in their upcoming matches and competitions.

Robinho could never really live up to the hype that was created from the media. The Brazilian player attracted the attention of the world after Pele named Robinho as his natural heir but unfortunately for Robinho, he failed to perform at the level that everyone expected from him.

The 32 year old player managed to play in some of the biggest clubs in the world including: Real Madrid, Manchester City and Ac.Milan. Even though he had some memorable performances and even seasons with some of his former teams, it generally was a fairly disappointing playing career for Robinho with the clubs that he used to perform in.
Earlier in February, Robinho joined completed his move to AtleticoMineiro as he penned a 2 year long deal with the Brazilian club as he wants to get his career back on track and the veteran player has actually been making impressive performances

Robinho managed to secure a hat-trick when playing against Tombense on March 6 and more recently, he found the back of the net on 2 occassions when AtleticoMinero faced off with Tupi, the performances of Robinho have been impressive and this is what he needed in order to have any chance of snatching back his spot in the national team.

Even with these recent superb appearances from Robinho, it won’t guarantee that he is going to get call-up from Dunga as the Brazilian national football team has a star-studded team which will make it difficult for Robinho to be able on getting into the main squad of Dunga but he is certainly working hard to spark his career back to life.
